Refund Policy for Neido Life Telehealth Practices

Neido Assumpta Igwe, Nurse Practitioner (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides virtual consultation services (“Services”). This Refund Policy outlines eligibility for refunds on payments made via our platform. All transactions are processed securely without involving Protected Health Information (PHI) beyond what’s necessary for service delivery, in line with HIPAA standards.

1. Payment Terms

  • Technical Issues: Partial refund (50%) if we cannot deliver due to our platform failure (e.g., unresolvable outage); no refund for patient-side issues (internet, device).

  • Dissatisfaction: Case-by-case review; generally no refunds for professional judgment or outcomes.

3. Refund Process

  • Submit requests to info@neidolife.telehealthpractices.com within 7 days of booking/payment, including confirmation number (no PHI required).

  • Processing: 5-10 business days to original payment method.

  • Fees: No refund processing charges; payment processor fees non-refundable.

  • Currency conversion fees borne by patient.

4. Exclusions

  • No refunds for non-emergency services where alternatives (e.g., 911) apply.

  • Repeated violations may result in service denial without refund.

5. HIPAA Compliance in Refunds

  • Refund handling uses de-identified data only (e.g., transaction ID). No PHI shared with processors without Business Associate Agreement (BAA).

  • Disputes resolved without PHI disclosure.

6. Changes to Policy

Updates posted here; continued use implies acceptance. Major changes emailed.

7. Governing Law
