Billing Policy for Neido Life Telehealth Practices

Neido Assumpta Igwe, Nurse Practitioner (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides virtual consultation services (“Services”). This Billing Policy explains fees, payment methods, insurance, and billing practices. Billing processes use only the minimum necessary Protected Health Information (PHI) to comply with HIPAA.

1. Fee Schedule

2. Payment Methods & Timing

  • Payments due upfront at booking via secure HIPAA-compliant processor (e.g., Stripe with BAA, credit/debit card, PayPal).
  • We do not store full payment details; tokenized for security.
  • Currency: USD only.

3. Insurance & Reimbursement

  • Self-pay practice: We do not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid directly.
  • Superbills provided post-consultation (includes CPT/ICD-10 codes, de-identified where possible) for you to submit for reimbursement.
  • No guarantee of coverage; verify with your insurer.

4. Billing Process

  • Invoice emailed post-payment or upon request (no PHI in subject/transactional emails).
  • Late payments: Account suspension after 30 days; collections after 90 days (with notice).
  • HIPAA Safeguards: Billing data encrypted (AES-256), access limited, Business Associates under BAA.

5. Non-Covered Services

  • No coverage for emergencies, controlled substances without prior eval, or out-of-scope care.
  • Travel/time outside consultations not billable.

6. Disputes & Adjustments

  • Submit billing questions within 30 days via email. Reviewed case-by-case; adjustments rare post-service.
  • No PHI shared in disputes without authorization.

7. Changes to Policy

Updates posted here; continued use implies acceptance. Notified via email for major changes.
